Meetings 2009/2010

Meetings are held bi-monthly, on Saturdays 10:00 – 16:00.

The venue is:-

Norwich High School for Girls

Newmarket Road

Norwich

NR2 2HU

There are three car parks available, the closest to out venue will be off Christchurch Road – this is a small car park & will be reserved for those who find difficulty in walking (check with Carol Woodward 01603 466697 if there will be space for you there).

The other two car parks are off Newmarket Road & Ablemarle Road.

18^th February	Promotion of Lace at the Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich
	Norfolk Lacemakers and other invited groups are staging displays of all styles of lace, in the Forum from 09:00 to 17:00. Also on hand will be members demonstrating lace making and there will be spare pillows prepared for members of the public to ‘have a go’.

At the Committee Meeting held on 9th May 2008 it was agreed that from September 2008 meetings would be held bi-monthly, on Saturdays 10:00 – 16:00.

The benefits of the new arrangements have been that:-

· Interest has been noted from people who would be keen to attend on Saturdays

· This would allow for all day meetings (allowing time for Committee Meetings / Work / Speakers

· A family ticket will be available at a cost of £20 (regardless of number of children), to encourage early interest in Lacemaking
