Poppies:- Norfolk Lacemakers, Chairmans Challenge 2014

Alison, our chairlady, challenged Norfolk Lacemakers to make poppies that would be used as part of the centeniery commemerations for WWI. 1914-1918.

Norwich Cathedral Remembrance Day

Our members took the challenge and produced lots of poppies. These poppies were attached to a blue ribbon and displayed in a beautiful flower arrangement in Norwich Cathedral.

This and other arrangments decorated the cathedral for the 2014 Rememberance Day service and Armistist Day. At 11am on the 11th November 1918 the armisist brought an end to World War 1
